Admission Requirements
Undergraduate applicants:
Admission requirements vary depending on your educational background and the category of admission requested. McGill University accepts students from a wide variety of academic backgrounds, including Quebec CEGEPs, high schools in other Canadian provinces, the U.S. and internationally, as well as applicants from other universities and colleges. Admission decisions are based on your academic record, as well as performance in prerequisite courses, depending on the program.
Detailed information regarding the specific prerequisites and deadlines that would apply to your applicant category and program choice can be found on the Applying to Undergraduate Studies. Prospective applicants can also refer to admission standards from previous year.
Graduate applicants:
Graduate admission requirements vary depending on the program to which you are applying and your educational background. Admission to graduate studies is highly competitive and also depends on the admissions requirements of the academic unit and the availability of resources such as supervision, funding, laboratory space, class size, etc. Details are found here.

Reçus et relevés d’impôt
L'Université est tenu de préparer les reçus d’impôt fédérales et provinciales requis au plus tard à la fin du mois de Février de l'année civile précédente, (i.e. les cours suivis de Janvier dernier à Décembre). Il sera possible d'imprimer tous les relevés d'impôt dans Minerva soit par les étudiants ou soit par leurs invités.
Les reçus comprennent les frais de scolarité payés et indiquent les mois pour les études à temps plein ou des études à temps partiel. Les relevés comprendront tout revenu imposable de sources telles que bourses, montant pour assistant de recherche. Il suffit de naviguer dans le menu des comptes étudiants et puis sélectionnez le menu des reçus (Tax menu). Pour plus d'informations, consultez la documentation en ligne disponible ici.

La plupart des étudiants sélectionnés pour un échange qui ont soumis tous les documents requis par l'université d'accueil pour le trimestre d'automne reçoivent une réponse de cette dernière en mai ou en juin et ceux qui font une demande pour le trimestre d'hiver reçoivent une réponse en octobre ou en novembre.
Comme les dates de début de trimestre varient selon les établissements, l'étudiant pourra recevoir une réponse de l'université d'accueil avant ou après ces périodes.

Les décisions relatives aux demandes des étudiants au premier cycle sont prises de matière continue et toutes les décisions sont rendues au moins un mois avant les dates limites publiées.
